Overcame inertia for a bit today, only for a few hours, and did a bit more roof patching.
Grotty double-layer? Appears to have been patched from the inside.
So I cut that out, welded in a new piece, and noticed a pinhole a little further to the right, which I chased around for a few inches before cutting that out too.
Then I moved back up to the top of the roof, to try and get that a bit closer to complete on the passenger side.
Lashed all the repaired bits with more zinc paint, starting with the underside of the roof where I'm finished working (and that I don't need to scrape flaking paint off from)
(Putting that interior light in there properly has made a real difference!)
Not the smoothest coat of paint, since the tin seems to have grown quite a thick skin, but it's plenty good enough for a coat of sealer/primer on the roof.
Apologies for no big updates, I've been struggling to find the energy and will to do anything but drag myself exhaustedly between work and bed. On which note, time for me to take my dried frog pills and go sleep. Here's hoping the longer days help improve things.
