Pottering

Some minor pottering about has been had, mostly just a few little bits of tin trimmed to size to be welded in to finish up the floor on the passenger's side, once I can bear to pick up the welder and start glueing poxy tin-plate together again.

I have also spent Sunday tinkering with the tune file for the truck, and reviewing logs, and discovered that I had the fuel injector setting in the tune set for the 280cc/min injectors I was originally going to use, not the 380cc/min injectors I actually have. This will mean a little adjustment, and probably undoing most of the tuning work I originally did. But it does explain why the truck was farting out black clouds of smoke when I first fired it up!

Tune file duly adjusted (including fidgeting with the accel enrichment), uploaded after work this afternoon, and it's made a hell of a difference. I can now hit the throttle with gusto and the truck just revs, rather than choking and hiccuping. Fantastic!

After a bit of back n forth (and a little delay on my end, because I managed to lose the email thread underneath everything else), I'm planning on ordering the wheels this payday. Quite excited!
