Seems a little dark, compared to the remnants of what was already on the engine, but I'm going to keep on with it. Additionally, I have made some progress on re-wiring the back lights, now with an additional 4 or so years of experience since I did it the first time and with things having changed slightly! The original design had the wiring to each rear light cluster pass

The wiring has been a little ... lovingly attended to; and the Weber carb was retrofitted with -- no joke -- cable-ties and sikaflex. I... may or may not have exploded the carb off the manifold trying to start it. There was -- hypothetically, yer 'onour -- a lot of sikaflex shrapnel, and a very impressive fireball.

Read more…Okay, so it's been a while since I've updated... Haven't particularly had a chance to come down from Panic Status 1, with having just getting set up in the new unit and getting an email from the agent saying that the landlord doesn't like me having my truck parked in the bay for that unit. Their chief complaints are that it sticks out too much (It's 5 feet out from the fence because the tenant next door has a bunch of curse word dumped in the back of the bay, that the agent has already said they'd been previously told to move.), and that they don't want me
Read more…Hey, not quite a year this time! Go me! So, let's lead off with something I didn't mention at any point on here since it happened: I don't work for the truck-building company any more. Had enough of their bullshit, flipped my shit, left. Just before Christmas 2018.

I was going to just use the grey primer I have, but I had some of the etch primer already out and left over from giving the front wings another coat. The floors have since got a little red-oxide because, again, I had some of that out from painting other things. The grey primer would be more ideal, since I plan on the inside of the cab

Piston Grade | Piston Size | Liner Bore Diameter |
---|---|---|
R | 3.8715 to 3.8720in | 3.8735 to 3.8740in |
B | 3.8720 to 3.8725in | 3.8740 to 3.8745in |
